At the Be Mindful Fife we are committed to your privacy.
In response to the new Data Protection Act we have developed a new privacy policy, which is attached below and which we will follow to the best of our ability in order to protect your privacy.
Why do we collect your personal data?
We collect and use your personal data to support your ongoing development as a compassion based mindfulness practitioner by attending training with us and by staying connected as a valued member of our community of compassion based mindfulness practice.
How do we collect your personal data?
We collect your data when you book a course online and when you fill out a registration form at one of our training events. We will do our best to take care of your data so as to protect your privacy by following our privacy policy. For insurance purposes your registration form is kept for two years, and then destroyed. We will continue to contact you about courses, and you can ask to be removed from the mailing list as an time.
 
We don’t share your personal data with third parties
Your personal data will be used by Be Mindful Fife employees, IT contractors and tutors, solely for the purposes of supporting your engagement with the Be Mindful Fife to develop your compassion based mindfulness practice.
 
We will protect your personal data
Your personal data is securely stored on databases hosted by data protection compliant service providers and we will follow information security guidelines to keep your personal data safe.
 
Your rights in relation to your personal data
The new law gives you certain rights in relation to your personal data, in particular a right to a copy of your personal data and a right to have your personal data deleted. You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting bill@bemindfulfife.co.uk
You are a valued member of our community of practice
We hope that you will allow us to stay in touch with you as a valued member of our community of compassion based mindfulness practice. But, if you no longer wish to hear from us, then simply email us with unsubscribe in the title bar of the email.
The data you provide to Be Mindful Fife will be stored securely and will be used for the purposes of administering your attendance on courses and supporting other engagement with our work in accordance with our data protection policy, which can be downloaded from this website and is in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act. To support your engagement with us we will contact you from time to time via email with guidance to support your ongoing mindfulness practice, including details of upcoming courses, which may be of interest to you. You can opt out of receiving emails from us, at any time, by contacting bill@bemindfulfife.co.uk  with the UNSUBSCRIBE in the title.
